Full Moon Integrative Therapies
I grew up in Texas and now live by a little lake just a few minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. I am a writer, a gardener, a "bird nerd," and a "rock hound." I am a 3x cancer survivor, a step-mother, a student and lover of the arts, and a former professional dancer and singer, who still does both but mostly just around the house.
I am also an IAAP certified Jungian Analyst and Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have additional certifications in the treatment of trauma and the supervision of new counselors working toward full licensure.
I am also a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner™ with 20 years of experience in the use of sound and movement therapies, integrating the body, somatic experience, and neuroplasticity into psychotherapy.
I have earned two master's degrees and have an ABD (all but dissertation) in the field of Comparative Religion, with a focus in Eastern Religions, Indian Buddhism and Yoga studies.
I graduated with honors from Hunter College, City University of New York, after a career in dance and musical theater. After perfoming in New York City and elsewhere, I went on to work in various institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Open Center for Holistic Education, and Lincoln Center Institute.
I have taught psychology and religion in a variety of settings including Jung Societies in the United States and Canada, and at universities including Hunter College, Marymount Loyola (NYC), the University of Manitoba (TA) (Winnipeg), and Antioch University (Seattle).
